On August 12 (Wednesday), Hon Hai unveiled its earnings report, revealing that bolstered by the persistent and vigorous demand for artificial intelligence (AI), the company's revenue for the first half of the year soared to NT$4.65 trillion, accompanied by a net profit of NT$109.9 billion. Notably, its profit in the second quarter witnessed a remarkable 35% year-on-year increase, surpassing analysts' projections. The company achieved a net profit of NT$59.97 billion, outperforming the average analyst estimate of NT$58.8 billion.
Hon Hai foresees that market demand will persistently stay strong, with AI demand acting as a key driver for the full-year growth. The company anticipates a substantial double-digit sequential rise in AI server rack shipments during the third quarter. Furthermore, Hon Hai declared its commitment to continuously expand its global AI production capacity.
