On August 10th, it was reported that Zhipu's MaaS open platform has witnessed a significant surge in registered users (API users), with the number nearing 7 million. This marks an increase of approximately 2 million users since early July, including 23,000 enterprise clients. Its developer product, ZCode, which stands as a formidable competitor to Codex, surpassed the 1 million-user milestone just one month after its launch.

Since the beginning of this year, Zhipu's Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) has experienced a remarkable 15-fold growth. Notably, its ARR growth rate has remained steady and unaffected even after the release of Kimi and Alibaba's new models. An investor disclosed that Zhipu's current ARR has reached $2 billion. However, company officials have refuted this figure, with sources close to Zhipu asserting that the actual number is even higher.

On July 21st, market news broke that Zhipu has successfully established a domestically-produced AI computing power infrastructure with a capacity of 1GW. To cater to the escalating demand for inference, over 50,000 locally-produced computing chips have been deployed. Furthermore, on July 31st, Zhipu's long-term restricted Coding Plan became available for purchase, following a substantial price hike.
