Just a day after its publication, Apple took down the support document titled "Using QianWen with Apple Intelligence on Mac" from its official Mac Simplified Chinese user guide. This document had initially confirmed that Apple Intelligence would be incorporating Alibaba's QianWen model, marking Apple's first official acknowledgment of this integration in a documented form. According to the document, the QianWen extension is compatible with macOS 26.6 or higher versions. It also outlined specific requirements for users, including owning a device version tailored for the Chinese mainland market, setting their Apple account region to the Chinese mainland, and being physically present in the Chinese mainland. In terms of functionality, the document detailed that Siri could utilize QianWen to deliver more comprehensive responses, while writing tools could generate text or images based on user descriptions. Nevertheless, the document was retracted today, and the page has now reverted to its previous iteration, titled "Using ChatGPT with Apple Intelligence."
