On August 8th, news emerged indicating that WeChat is currently in the midst of gray-scale testing for its 'AI-assisted writing' and 'AI commenting' functionalities within Moments. Upon reaching out to Tencent's customer support, journalists discovered that these AI-driven features are still in the process of being gradually rolled out. Some intelligent interaction capabilities might already be undergoing gray-scale testing. The precise availability of these features hinges on the user's WeChat version updates. Prior to this, WeChat had already carried out small-scale internal trials of its in-house AI assistant, 'WeChat Xiaowei,' which empowers users to engage through text or voice, utilize WeChat functions, communicate with friends, or initiate mini-programs, among other activities.
