On August 7, TrendForce released its latest research findings on the AI server industry. The report highlighted that, driven by a significant uptick in demand for AI infrastructure, the combined capital expenditures of the world's nine leading cloud service providers (CSPs) are projected to surge by approximately 90% year-on-year in 2026. Recently, there has been a marked increase in the willingness of hyperscale CSPs and Tier-2 data center operators to invest in NVIDIA's (NVIDIA) GB/VR and other full-rack AI server solutions. Concurrently, Google's (Google) and AWS's (Amazon Web Services) next-generation ASIC platforms are anticipated to gradually enter the market in the latter half of 2026. Furthermore, as Chinese enterprises intensify their adoption of indigenous AI solutions to cater to the AI needs of cloud-based large language models (LLMs), TrendForce has adjusted its forecast for AI server shipment growth in 2026, raising it from the initial 28% to nearly 31%.
