On August 6, following the clarification announcement issued by Tongyu Communication, relevant staff from Jiaxian Communication responded with the following information: In March 2026, NVIDIA’s AI-RAN technical team visited Jiaxian Communication, where both parties engaged in in-depth discussions regarding the technical roadmap for AI-RAN. During this visit, NVIDIA proposed that Jiaxian Communication leverage the CUDAAerial open-source platform for the research and development of AI-RAN base station systems. Subsequently, Jiaxian Communication initiated preliminary research and validation of AI-native 5G and 6G base station technologies within the CUDAAerial ecosystem, with related efforts spanning nearly six months. At present, both sides have established a formal technical working group to facilitate ongoing communication concerning the research, development, and validation of relevant technologies. This group includes over ten technical experts from NVIDIA, representing regions such as Mainland China, Hong Kong (China), and Singapore.
