On August 6, during ByteDance's mid-year all-staff meeting, CEO Liang Rubo elucidated the rationale behind the integration of Doubao, Feishu, and Volcano Engine. He highlighted that the progress of AI in the productivity domain has surpassed initial projections, thereby elevating the significance of ToB (Business-to-Business) operations. Presently, a staggering 90% of Feishu's new clientele are also opting for its AI offerings. Liang Rubo outlined ByteDance's business strategy principles as "high priority, robust foundation, long-term optimization," with AI, information platforms, and transaction services forming its three pillars. These core businesses are all aligned to fulfill the company's overarching mission of harnessing computing power for intelligence. Douyin, serving as the cornerstone business, propels the growth of e-commerce and lifestyle services. Looking ahead, Doubao is poised to emerge as another pivotal business pillar.
