Anthropic is establishing a massive financing system to support its expansion of computing power. Blackstone is set to lead the arrangement of at least $36 billion in debt financing to cover the costs of renting AI chips from Google. Google will supply Anthropic with artificial intelligence chips worth over $150 billion, bringing the total value of the collaboration deal to approximately $200 billion, with about four-fifths related to chip procurement. This makes it one of the largest infrastructure financing projects in history. These moves come after Anthropic confidentially filed its U.S. IPO documents, possibly aiming to strengthen its balance sheet and computing power reserves ahead of the listing.
