On August 4, Kaiwang Data, a full-stack AI data infrastructure technology firm, revealed that it had successfully closed a new strategic funding round, raising over RMB 100 million. This funding initiative was co-led by the Beijing E-Town Industrial Upgrading Fund, Huafang Capital, and Skyline Capital. It also saw participation from a host of investment entities, including Xinding Capital, Marui Asset Management, and Xinghua Dingli. Additionally, embodied intelligence companies such as Songyan Power and Mifeng Technology, which are part of the Zhiyuan group, joined the funding round. Notably, existing investors like Yasheng Capital, Qingzhi Capital, and Plug and Play Capital also ramped up their stakes. The newly acquired funds will be earmarked for the research and development of an integrated data trading platform. They will also support the recruitment of specialized technical talent for global model development and the enhancement of large-scale data production capabilities across the commercial, industrial, and household sectors. This move is aimed at bolstering the company's comprehensive data service offerings.
