In the United States, the phenomenon of high personnel turnover is notably prevalent among leading AI laboratories. Recently, a number of Google AI researchers have transitioned to either Company A or OpenAI. Given that the U.S. has prohibited the use of non-compete clauses within relevant industries, AI researchers face no legal impediments when changing jobs.
