Chinese 3D modeling startup Vast, which is supported by Alibaba, is reportedly weighing the option of launching an initial public offering (IPO) in Hong Kong, according to sources with knowledge of the situation. The company is working closely with Bank of America and CITIC Securities to formulate a share issuance strategy. At present, relevant discussions are still in progress, and a definitive decision has yet to be reached. Established in 2023, Vast has attracted investments from prominent entities such as Alibaba and Baidu. Its innovative product, Tripo Studio, empowers users to effortlessly create 3D models. Notably, Vast has recently secured nearly $200 million in funding, propelling its valuation to an impressive $1 billion.
