COOWA Technology has made an announcement that Professor Yang Xue of Shanghai Jiao Tong University will assume the role of the company's Chief Scientist. Additionally, the Embodied Intelligence Joint Laboratory, which has been established through a collaborative effort between the two entities, has been officially inaugurated. Under Professor Yang Xue's leadership, the laboratory will focus on the research and development of COOWA's General Embodied Large Model, COOWAM. This initiative aims to facilitate the seamless integration of the company's extensive real-world urban operation data, gathered from tens of thousands of sources, with academic research endeavors. Ultimately, this strategic move is expected to propel COOWA's expansion from urban services into the broader realm of general embodied intelligence.
