South Korean AI chip design company DeepX Co. has recently completed a new round of financing, with its valuation surging nearly fourfold from the previous round, highlighting the sustained market enthusiasm for investing in companies within the AI industry chain. It is reported that the startup, based in Pangyo, Gyeonggi Province, has reached a valuation of approximately KRW 3.14 trillion (about $2.2 billion) in its latest transaction. DeepX has signed the first batch of agreements for its Series D funding round, successfully raising KRW 42 billion from existing investors BNW Investment Co. and DS Asset Management Co.
