On July 23, Bloomberg reported that Greg Brockman, President of OpenAI, recognized the strong competitiveness of Kimi K3, developed by Yue Zhi An Mian. However, he expressed uncertainty regarding whether Kimi K3 utilized OpenAI's technology. Yue Zhi An Mian asserted that Kimi K3's overall capabilities outperform those of the majority of its competitors. Some estimates even indicate that China may be trailing the U.S. by a mere four months in terms of AI model development. Brockman underscored that OpenAI continues to hold a substantial lead, thanks to its significant investment in computational resources and years of accumulated research.
