On Thursday morning local time, a Microsoft executive revealed to employees that the company would integrate two Copilot applications—one for individual consumers and one for enterprise users—while cutting redundant features to "secure a place in the market." According to a 1,200-word internal memo, Jacob Andreou, Microsoft's Executive Vice President, stated that the new unified application will feature AI programming tools and several new intelligent agent capabilities, requiring users to pay an additional fee for access.
