On July 1, Siemens unveiled its ambitious plan to invest a staggering 300 million euros in Germany, with the primary goal of substantially enhancing its production capacity for pivotal technologies essential to the global energy transition and AI data centers. This strategic investment encompasses the establishment of a cutting-edge supplier facility in Offenbach, Germany, alongside the expansion of two already operational factories in Frankfurt. The groundbreaking ceremony for the construction kicked off in July of this year, and the newly built supplier facility is slated to become operational in the spring of 2027. Notably, this project is projected to generate 700 new employment opportunities by the close of 2030.
