OpenAI officially announced that it will launch a physical hardware device matching (compatible) with its AI coding tool, Codex, on July 15. Although there have been rumors that OpenAI would collaborate with former Apple design chief Jony Ive to develop AI hardware, this new product focuses more on serving developers to enhance programming efficiency. The new device features a square design with multiple buttons on its surface. Judging from the silhouette shared on social media, its design style closely resembles that of the Creator Micro 2 macro keyboard from peripheral manufacturer Work Louder.
