On Tuesday, Samsung Electro-Mechanics revealed that it had inked a substantial contract, valued at 454 billion won (around $293 million), with a U.S. client. The agreement entails the provision of multi-layer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs) specifically tailored for the client's AI servers. This contract will span the entirety of 2027. Owing to a non-disclosure agreement, Samsung Electro-Mechanics has kept the client's identity under wraps. However, industry experts surmise that the client is a prominent U.S. cloud service provider.
