Google has revealed that the personalized image generation feature within the Gemini app, which is driven by Nano Banana, is now accessible at no cost to all qualified users in the United States, breaking free from the previous subscriber-only model. This functionality can automatically craft images that align with users' personal tastes, drawing on preference data gleaned from authorized connections to Gmail, Google Photos, YouTube, and Google Search. There's no need for users to delve into intricate descriptions of their preferences; they can also directly pull photos from Google Photos. To take advantage of this, users must proactively activate the 'Personalized Intelligence' feature and designate which applications it can access. Once switched on, this feature will be automatically integrated into every prompt, though users retain the flexibility to deactivate it whenever they wish. Furthermore, Google offered a sneak peek at several upcoming updates for the Gemini app last month, encompassing a 'Daily Briefing' feature, a revamped interface, the AI video model Gemini Omni, and the personal AI agent Gemini Spark. Presently, Gemini boasts a user base exceeding 750 million monthly active users.
