On June 28 (local time), Musk announced that the latest large language model, Grok 4.5, has commenced private beta testing within SpaceX and Tesla. Built upon the V9 foundational model with 1.5 trillion parameters, this model integrates data from the popular AI programming tool Cursor during supplementary training. Early evaluations indicate that Grok 4.5's performance is approaching or may even surpass that of Anthropic's flagship model, Claude Opus. Currently, reinforcement learning is continuously optimizing the model, while the accompanying 'Grok Build' testing benchmark is also being refined. Musk also revealed that SpaceX will release a newly trained model every month within this year.
