At the 51st Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions, the project titled "AI-Empowered Ultrasonic Thermometry Technology for HIFU Therapy," developed by the team led by Professor Zhu Benpeng and Yang Xiaofei from our esteemed university, shone brightly among more than 1,400 invention projects originating from 35 countries and regions across the globe. Their remarkable achievement secured them the highest accolade—the Jury's Special Commendation Gold Award. The Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions, often hailed as the 'Olympics of Inventions,' meticulously selects the recipient of this prestigious award from among all Gold Award-winning projects. It necessitates unanimous approval from a panel of over 80 international experts. Awarded annually, this honor is bestowed upon only approximately 3% of the top-tier projects among all entries, truly earning its reputation as the 'Gold Award among Gold Awards.'
