At the press conference for the 2026 Global Digital Economy Conference, it was announced that the cumulative number of registered users for Beijing's leading large models has soared to an impressive 2.05 billion. Pan Feng, Deputy Director of the Beijing Municipal Internet Information Office, highlighted that Beijing stands out as a national hub for artificial intelligence, boasting the most abundant innovation resources, the most vibrant industrial ecosystem, and a robust new infrastructure foundation in the AI field.
As a driving force and custodian of AI innovation and development, Beijing is committed to continuously refining its hierarchical and categorized management system for large models, which integrates both "filing and registration" mechanisms. The city has established a second batch of "Large Model Ecosystem Service Stations" in Yizhuang Model and Data World and Chaoyang Guangzhi Space, facilitating the filing and launch of 242 large models—a feat that ranks Beijing first in the nation. These large models offer API interface services to nearly 50,000 institutions nationwide, with leading enterprises demonstrating significant示范引领 (demonstrative and leading) effects and exerting a strong radiating influence.
