Artificial intelligence company Anthropic PBC successfully raised $65 billion in a new round of funding, with its post-investment valuation soaring to $965 billion, surpassing its main competitor OpenAI for the first time. This round of funding was officially announced recently, led jointly by Altimeter Capital, Dragoneer, Greenoaks, and Sequoia Capital. According to sources familiar with the matter, each lead investor contributed more than $2 billion. Sequoia Capital declined to comment, while the other three investment firms did not respond.
