He Xiaopeng, Chairman of XPENG Group, announced that XPENG's cutting-edge IRON humanoid robot, engineered specifically for large-scale production, is advancing steadily in terms of both software and hardware development. The robot is on the verge of entering the ET2 software-hardware integration phase, with an official launch slated for the third quarter of this year. Moreover, XPENG aims to achieve advanced mass production capabilities by the end of the year. Initially, the robot will undergo trial commercialization in XPENG stores, with deliveries to commercial customers in China and overseas markets commencing next year. By that time, revenue generated from the sales of humanoid robot hardware and AI models is projected to emerge as a significant contributor to the revenue and gross profit growth of XPENG Group.
