Documents have unveiled that Grok, the artificial intelligence venture of SpaceX, has witnessed a notably low level of adoption within the U.S. government sphere. Specifically, there have been only three instances of government procurement involving xAI (here we assume xAI is the technology or platform related to Grok, if not, please adjust accordingly) or Grok. In stark contrast, models developed by companies such as OpenAI have enjoyed far more extensive application. Given that the U.S. government stands as the largest client of xAI, its rather tepid stance towards the Grok model casts a spotlight on the market hurdles confronting the company. This situation may even serve as a harbinger, suggesting that Grok could potentially face abandonment by customers in the commercial sector as well.
