Recently, the Intellectual Property Tribunal of the Supreme People's Court concluded the second-instance trials of two invention patent infringement cases involving the 'Unitree Robot Dog,' rejecting all claims made by the plaintiff, Loumoumei Company. Loumoumei Company filed the lawsuit just five days after obtaining the patent rights and repeatedly changed the claimed damages during the litigation, raising the amount from 500 yuan to 80 million yuan before reverting it, which was deemed as malicious litigation. The company was ordered to compensate Unitree Technology for reasonable expenses amounting to 80,000 yuan.
