On April 23, 2026, ByteDance made an official announcement, introducing its latest breakthrough—the next-generation, high-precision 3D generation large model, Seed3D 2.0. This innovative model leverages a Mixture of Experts (MoE) architecture, which employs sparse expert routing to manage inference computation effectively. By doing so, it allows for an increase in both parameter count and resolution, paving the way for the creation of 3D models with richer texture details and more precisely defined metal-roughness boundaries.
