Since its debut in 2022, the percentage of male users has dropped from approximately 80%, while female users now constitute more than 50% of the total. In terms of weekly active users, close to 500 million women across the globe engage with ChatGPT on a regular basis, and the platform's overall user base is approaching the 1 billion mark. Computing power plays a pivotal role in AI development. OpenAI has seen its available computing power surge from 0.2 gigawatts in 2023 to an estimated 1.9 gigawatts in 2025, marking an annual growth rate of roughly three times. Moreover, OpenAI has entered into computing power agreements totaling over 30 gigawatts with companies like NVIDIA, with the goal of securing 30 gigawatts of computing power by 2030.
