Thinking Machines Lab, an AI startup founded by former OpenAI CTO Mira Murati, has recently had another founding member poached by Meta. This member previously led the development and launch of the company's flagship product, Tinker, and now serves as the leader of the engineering team at Meta's Superintelligence Lab. Previously, Meta had already poached five founding members from the lab, while OpenAI has also hired talents such as its former CTO. However, Thinking Machines Lab has also made new gains by hiring Sumit Chintala from Meta as its CTO and bringing on programmer Neal Wu. Since its establishment last year, the company's team size has expanded more than fourfold, now boasting approximately 130 employees.
