The Claude Opus 4.7 model is chiefly designed for the consumer market and finds applications in various areas, notably code programming. Meanwhile, the AI design tool is tailored to cater to both technically-savvy and non-technical users, with the ambition to make inroads into the core markets occupied by companies such as Adobe.

Following the news release, the stock prices of relevant companies took a hit, plummeting by over 2%. Nevertheless, the capital markets continue to display a high level of enthusiasm towards Anthropic. Venture capital firms have been flocking to present multiple investment offers, with the company's valuation soaring to as high as $800 billion. Its valuation in the secondary market has also witnessed a significant upswing.

Anthropic's skyrocketing valuation can be primarily attributed to its explosive revenue growth. Its annualized revenue has surged from $9 billion at the close of 2025 to $30 billion. Moreover, the number of enterprise customers with high spending has doubled in a span of less than two months.
