A Gallup survey report indicates that nearly half of American employees use artificial intelligence at work at least occasionally, with usage reaching a new record high for the company. 41% of employees say that employers have introduced AI to improve efficiency, but only 26% of employers have provided clear integration plans, creating a communication gap that may affect productivity. Companies using AI have seen a higher rate of employee headcount changes compared to those that have not adopted AI, a phenomenon particularly evident in small and medium-sized enterprises. About two-thirds of respondents believe AI improves work efficiency, yet employees waste an average of nearly 8 hours a week using AI. Therefore, companies should prioritize effective integration and communication when introducing new technologies.
