Huawei has launched the 'HarmonyOS Application Developer Incentive Program 2026', with the primary goal of fostering the growth of the HarmonyOS ecosystem by providing cash incentives. From March 12 to September 30, 2026, developers who successfully develop and launch their applications will have the opportunity to receive incentives. Specifically, developers can earn 10,000 yuan for each well-received application (including gaming apps) and 3,000 yuan for each newly developed application (excluding gaming apps). This incentive program is tailored exclusively for developers based in the Chinese mainland, and the applications must be designed for the mainland market. Both well-received and newly developed applications are required to meet specific selection criteria. The process of participation involves three straightforward steps: first, register and activate merchant services from April 15 to September 25; second, complete the development and launch of the application within this timeframe; and third, Huawei will announce the selection results in batches on a monthly basis starting from June, with the incentive funds being directly transferred to the recipient's account.
