According to a Business Insider report dated April 15, Meta’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, has relocated his workstation to be in the midst of AI researchers, taking up programming duties once again. This move is aimed at allowing him to closely oversee the sweeping transformation of Meta’s AI operations. Meta President McCormick disclosed that Zuckerberg now collaborates directly with Chief AI Officer Wang Tao and AI Product Lead Friedman, dedicating 5 to 10 hours each week to coding for AI projects and assessing their progress. At present, Meta has poured billions of dollars into setting up a cutting-edge AI team, dubbed the 'Superintelligence Lab', and has already seen initial successes. Following the launch of its inaugural AI model, the company's stock price surged by 8%.
