As China advances its 'AI Plus' initiative, intelligent agents and AI-driven applications are increasingly being woven into the fabric of production processes and daily life. However, a recent spate of AI security incidents has captured the attention of both the public and the industry. In response to these concerns, the National Cybersecurity Standardization Technical Committee has set up the 'Artificial Intelligence Security Standards Working Group' (WG9), heralding a new era in the development of China's AI security standard framework. This working group is tasked with assessing the current AI security landscape, exploring the intricacies of the system, and crafting comprehensive standards. It will also champion the adoption of core standards, such as the 'Cybersecurity Technology—Artificial Intelligence Security Capability Maturity Assessment Method,' and address national standards pertaining to inherent security and data infrastructure. Chengdu Yuzhi'an Technology Co., Ltd., honored as the sole representative from Sichuan Province, will play a pivotal role in shaping the security baseline for the AI industry of tomorrow.
