On March 27th, the 2026 Zhongguancun Forum hosted a special session titled "Global Dialogue: Exploring New Paradigms for the Integration of Education, Technology, and Talent in the AI Era" at the Haidian Zhongguancun International Innovation Center. Yu Yingjie, a member of the Standing Committee of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Municipal Education Work Committee, announced that Beijing is set to concentrate on three key areas to firmly establish itself as a global epicenter for AI innovation and talent cultivation. Liu Tieyan, President of Beijing Zhongguancun College, emphasized that fostering the synergistic development of education, technology, and talent in the AI era acts as a powerful catalyst, akin to a flywheel effect, driving progress and innovation.
During the forum, the official launch ceremony for the ecological co-construction of the AI industrial park took place, marking a significant milestone. Furthermore, the Two Academies in Zhongguancun presented five groundbreaking scientific research achievements and advancements. These covered pivotal domains such as embodied intelligence, reinforcement learning, life sciences, large-scale models, and social intelligence. Collectively, they provide a robust impetus for innovation in fundamental AI research and offer core technological support for industrial implementation, paving the way for future advancements.
