Our reporters have obtained information from China Southern Power Grid, revealing that China's inaugural self-developed AI data analysis platform tailored for new energy storage was officially commissioned yesterday. This innovative platform seamlessly integrates diverse categories of new energy storage equipment. By harnessing the self-learning prowess of AI and conducting extensive data analysis, it enables real-time remote monitoring of equipment defects and potential risks, while autonomously generating operation and maintenance strategies for timely intervention. Presently, the platform has established connections with eight new energy storage power stations across Guangdong, Yunnan, Hainan, and other regions, boasting an extensive network of over 2.3 million data collection points. Following a year-long trial operation, the connected power stations have witnessed a remarkable 34% reduction in equipment failure rates, a significant boost of approximately 30% in new energy consumption, and a substantial enhancement in the system's regulatory capabilities.
