The U.S. Department of Defense recently submitted a court filing, asserting that artificial intelligence firm Anthropic has sparked national security apprehensions. This is due to its significant reliance on foreign employees, including Chinese nationals, in the research, development, and maintenance of its large-scale model products. The filing was cited as one of the grounds for dismissing Anthropic's lawsuit. Earlier, the Pentagon had already labeled Anthropic as a 'supply chain risk' entity, and the dispute between the two sides has now intensified to a national security issue.
