OpenAI is preparing to go public as early as the end of this year and is shifting the focus of its employees and investors towards enterprise-level business. According to sources, OpenAI may initiate its IPO in the fourth quarter of this year. Chief Financial Officer Sarah Friar is assembling a finance team, having already hired Ajmera Dyer, former Chief Accounting Officer of Block Inc., and Cynthia Gaylor, former Chief Financial Officer of DocuSign, earlier this year. Gaylor will be responsible for investor relations.
