On March 17 (local time), Nscale made public its signing of a letter of intent with Microsoft. The agreement entails Nscale providing a substantial 1.35 gigawatts of AI computing power. Additionally, the collaboration aims to metamorphose the Monarch AI Park, situated in West Virginia, USA, into a globally renowned flagship deployment site for NVIDIA's forthcoming generation of Vera Rubin GPUs. The delivery of this project is anticipated to unfold in stages, commencing in the latter half of 2027. On the same noteworthy day, Nscale also disclosed its acquisition of the Monarch Computing Park in Mason County, West Virginia. This expansive park spans an impressive 2,250 acres and holds the distinction of being the inaugural state-certified AI microgrid within the United States.
