According to two sources possessing direct knowledge of the matter, OpenAI inked a fresh contract with Amazon Web Services (AWS) on March 17, aiming to provide its artificial intelligence technology to U.S. government personnel, encompassing both classified and unclassified tasks. This agreement will enable OpenAI to bolster its support for the Pentagon, following last month's pact with the agency, which came after the Pentagon severed ties with its previous provider, Anthropic.
