As reported by Engadget, Qualcomm and Arduino have teamed up to introduce a groundbreaking single-board computer, the Arduino Ventuno Q. This innovative device is purpose-built to seamlessly fuse artificial intelligence (AI) into the realm of robotics. At its core, the Ventuno Q is powered by the Qualcomm Dragonwing IQ8 processor, which ingeniously combines the Hexagon Tensor NPU with a remarkable computing capacity of up to 40 TOPS. Additionally, it incorporates an STM32H5 low-latency microcontroller, tailored specifically for systems that demand precise physical interactions.

The Ventuno Q boasts an impressive array of features, including 16GB of memory and 64GB of expandable storage. It supports cutting-edge connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and 2.5Gbps Ethernet. Moreover, it comes pre-loaded with a diverse range of offline AI models, encompassing large language models and visual language models. This makes it an ideal solution for edge AI applications, including smart kiosks, medical assistants, traffic flow analysis, robotic vision manipulation, and educational research.

The product is slated for release in the second quarter of 2026, with an attractive price point set below $300, making it accessible to a wide range of users and applications.
