Lei Jun, a deputy to the National People's Congress (NPC), has presented five proposals. Lei Jun highlighted that humanoid robots have now reached a pivotal stage of industrialization. This stage necessitates breakthroughs in engineering challenges, the broadening of application scenarios, and the establishment of safety standards. Simultaneously, he advocated for collaborative efforts to construct a safety system for intelligent vehicle traffic. He also proposed the creation of a first-tier discipline for 'intelligent electric vehicles' to nurture professional talent, the incorporation of technology for the public good into innovation assessments, and the enhancement of industrial tourism environments. These proposals mirror the trend of systematic AI deployment and are poised to bolster China's global competitiveness in the relevant fields.
