On March 3, amid the 2026 Mobile World Congress, the Artificial Intelligence Special Committee of the World Internet Conference organized a thematic forum centered on embodied AI. The forum, titled "Embodied AI: Pioneering a New Era of AI Evolution," featured a keynote address by Niu Yibing, Deputy Director of the Cyberspace Administration of China.

Niu Yibing emphasized that embodied AI is propelling artificial intelligence beyond the confines of the "digital realm" and into the "tangible world." In light of the rapid global advancement in this field, he underscored the necessity of bolstering digital infrastructure, nurturing an open and collaborative ecosystem, and instituting a coordinated governance framework. These measures, he argued, are crucial for fostering the stable, inclusive, and equitable progression of embodied AI, thereby empowering diverse industries and ultimately enriching human society.
