Microsoft announced that its annual Build Developer Conference will move back to San Francisco, taking place offline at Fort Mason, a former U.S. military base in the San Francisco Bay Area, from June 2 to 3 this year. Positioned as a smaller, more developer-focused technical conference, the event plans to invite approximately 2,500 developers, down from the previous scale of 3,000 to 5,000 attendees, with the timing also shifted from May in previous years to June.
