On March 3, news emerged that AI chip startup Rebellions has enlisted JPMorgan Chase as the global lead underwriter for its upcoming initial public offering (IPO) in Seoul. This move marks a significant step forward for South Korea's much-anticipated entry into the tech stock arena. According to individuals with insider knowledge, Rebellions intends to file its IPO application in the latter half of this year, with the ambition to become a publicly traded company by the end of 2026 or the early part of 2027.

Rebellions specializes in crafting AI accelerators that are finely tuned for inference tasks within data centers. These accelerators are designed with a strong emphasis on cost-efficiency and energy conservation, positioning the company as a formidable contender to challenge NVIDIA's established market supremacy.

In September 2025, Rebellions successfully secured $250 million in a Series C funding round, propelling the company's valuation to an impressive $1.4 billion. The decision to partner with JPMorgan Chase underscores Rebellions' strategic vision to draw in both global institutional investors and domestic capital.

Should the IPO prove successful, Rebellions will gain access to fresh capital, which it plans to utilize for expanding its research and development efforts, forging deeper manufacturing alliances, and cementing its foothold in the fiercely competitive and rapidly evolving AI chip market.
