This system is widely viewed as a domestic counterpart to NVIDIA's Vera Rubin platform, underscoring China's unwavering commitment to achieving technological self-reliance in the realm of AI computing power. The Atlas 950 SuperPoD boasts support for 8,192 Ascend cards, offering a staggering 8 EFLOPS (FP8) of computational prowess. It also features an interconnection bandwidth of up to 16.3 PB/s and a memory capacity of 1,152 TB, setting new benchmarks across all critical performance indicators.
