At the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026, HONOR CEO Li Jian put forward the concept of Augmented Human Intelligence (AHI), striving to propel AI to make a dual advancement from Intelligence Quotient (IQ) to Emotional Quotient (EQ). With a human-centric approach, AHI underscores that AI must be endowed with both intelligence and emotional comprehension abilities to bolster human adaptability and evolution in a swiftly changing world.
To realize this objective, HONOR suggests a collaborative approach that amalgamates personal intelligence, global intelligence, and edge intelligence: personal intelligence functions as a person's 'digital twin,' manifesting in portable devices such as smartphones, and is equipped with proactive service, long-term memory, and automatic execution capabilities; global intelligence serves as a 'super brain' that links all entities, integrating cloud data and top-tier global large models to bolster decision-making; edge intelligence operates as 'intelligent sensors' that perceive the world, like robots and electric vehicles, thereby expanding the boundaries of human physical perception and action.
Under the AHI framework, these three elements respectively assume the roles of 'understanding you,' 'being knowledgeable,' and 'taking action,' jointly dismantling interaction barriers among humans, the digital realm, and the physical world. At the launch event, HONOR exhibited the Robot Phone, which merges embodied intelligent interaction with flagship imaging technology, pioneering a novel form of next-generation AI terminal and signifying a groundbreaking exploration of the AHI concept in the realm of personal intelligence.
Since declaring the Alpha Strategy at last year's MWC, HONOR has successfully transitioned into a globally leading AI terminal ecosystem company, propelling the evolution of AI smartphones through a 'three-step' strategy and accomplishing a leap in human-computer interaction from 'passive response' to 'proactive service'.
