AMD Forges Strategic Alliance with Hyperconverged Infrastructure Leader Nutanix, with a $150 Million Investment

On the 25th (local time), AMD and hyperconverged infrastructure provider Nutanix unveiled a strategic partnership. Under this agreement, AMD will not only make a strategic investment of $150 million in Nutanix but also allocate an extra $100 million to support joint collaborative projects. The two companies aim to co-develop an open, full-stack AI infrastructure platform. This platform will be refined through the seamless integration of diverse technologies and will incorporate a software ecosystem featuring an enterprise-grade AI platform.
On the same day, Nutanix published its financial results for the second quarter of fiscal year 2026 (FY2026Q2). The report revealed that for the three-month period ending January 31, 2026, the company generated revenue of $722.8 million, marking a 10% year-on-year increase. Furthermore, its annual recurring revenue (ARR) surged to $2.36 billion, representing a 16% year-on-year growth.
