At the Guangzhou High-Quality Development Conference, the Tianhe District government unveiled its ambitious plan to launch 30 projects in the first quarter, among which stands out XPENG’s full-chain mass production hub for humanoid robots. This project is a cornerstone in Tianhe’s strategy to achieve a robust start to the year. XPENG Motors has entered into a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the Tianhe District government. The hub will be situated in the Embodied AI Industrial Park within Guangtang Science and Technology Innovation City. The park’s inaugural phase is designed to facilitate the industrialization of XPENG’s cutting-edge humanoid robots. During the 2025 Tech Day, XPENG showcased its latest-generation humanoid robot, IRON, which is powered by three Turing AI chips. XPENG’s Chairman and CEO, He Xiaopeng, expressed the company’s vision to be the world’s pioneer in achieving mass production of advanced humanoid robots by the end of 2026.
