On February 11, OpenAI announced the dissolution of its 'Mission Alignment' team, which was originally responsible for ensuring that the company's artificial intelligence systems are safe, trustworthy, and aligned with human values. The former team leader, Josh Achiam, has transitioned to the role of Chief Futurist at OpenAI.
